Efficient Photocatalytic CO <sub>2</sub> Reformation of Methane on Ru/La‐g‐C <sub>3</sub> N <sub>4</sub> by Promoting Charge Transfer and CO <sub>2</sub> Activation**

Artificial photosynthesis, in which solar energy drives CO2 to produce hydrocarbon fuels, is considered an effective way solve the increasingly serious crisis and mitigate greenhouse effect. Herein, layered porous Ru-loaded La-doped g-C3N4 nanosheets (Ru-LGCNs) were prepared by one-step calcination, followed situ photoreduction deposition of Ru. The Ru-LGCN showed excellent photocatalytic reformation methane performance under visible light, generation rates CO, CH3CH3, CH3OH CH3CH(OH)CH3 133, 154, 251 133 μmol h−1 g−1, respectively. reason for enhanced activity synergistic effect bimetallic Ru La. It worth noting that doped La can provide a good channel charge transfer between LGCNs CO2. This change behavior transport path beneficial break C=O bonds on active site generate methyl radicals Ru, resulting C2+ hydrocarbons.
